IT'S ALL HARD LABOUR HERE AT SCHNEWS!

SchNEWS is run by volunteers on a shoestring, but still costs about £20,000 a year to keep going. Thanks to the Levellers our office space is free, but we've got to find money for postage, phone, printing, ink, stationairy, computers, email, chocolate biscuits...

No advertising means we rely on donations to keep us going. Currently 3,000 people receive SchNEWS by email every week (technical back-up permitting!!!) and it's rising by 15 a day. So, if you haven't had your copy lately it means we're short of helping hands and helpful wallets! Just a quid each from you lovely email subscribers would sort the biscuit problem....... !!! So, why not put your hand in your pocket and send us some cash - even stamps will do!

It costs us £15 a month to use GreenNet. A service we could get for free elsewhere, except we want to support small, co-operative ethical business. So are there 15 people willing to stump up a £1 a month standing order to keep our account going?
